The Clown Company was established in 1988 in Geelong as part of the Bi-Centennial Traveling Show as the brainchild of Magician and Radio Personality Don Crawford.

We have always been ahead of the rest. Moving to Melbourne in 1989 The Clown Company was responsible for taking booking children's entertainment out of the "backyard". We were the first to have a fax machine, pagers and mobile phones. Keeping that tradition of being ahead of the times in 1996 we were the first to have a web presence.

This year as we celebrate 21 years in business we reflect back on over 5000 live performances both corporate and private functions. We have opened shopping centers and hotels and closed a few. Several families are now using us for their next generation’s special occasions.
